Announcing Medieval Gaming Gnight on First Friday at Lord Galen MacByrne's new home in Cornwall, NY, just north of West Point Military Academy. (directions) Play Chess, Backgammon, Nine Men's Morris, Tafl and other medieval games. Don't gknow how to play, but want to learn? All games taught! Want to play better? One on one instruction possible, too - and get your mind out of the gutter, you! Bring your own games if you want, I have many of my own, too. Non-medieval flights of fancy may include Cathedral, Nuclear War, Risk, Knightmare Chess, Settlers of Catan, or whatever else people want to play.

My house rules? No smoking in the house, don't toss cigarette butts in the garden, and don't let the cats out, or feed them by leaving food unattended for even half a second. The cats are very good hunters, and could easily survive on the streets, if there was a wild plate of lasagna there.

Future Gaming Gnights will be on the first Friday of every month, unless my event schedule forces a conflict, in which case I may reschedule the Gaming Gnight that month. Check with Galen before you go, or to be put on a list to receive email notifications from him automatically.

Please RSVP if you plan on showing up. Crash space available. Drinks and munchies - you're at my tender mercies, and I have strange ideas about what constitutes snack foods. Plus I have a hot sauce collection and I'm not afraid to use it. Be warned - or hop across the street to the Key Food, the liquor store, the Dunkin Donuts, or bring what you please.
